About the Event
All entry fees to be paid at the safety brief, but please register online here to give us and the sponsors an idea of how many people are coming so we can prepare prizes and a BBQ on saturday arvo.

$50 entry fee and for every first round impact PVR will donate $1 to NMRH.
30 Targets, 30 scoring shots.
15 shooting positions - 2 shots per position - you pick the target - you game it!
First shots at 10am Saturday and final shot 3pm Sunday.
Safety Briefs at 9:30am, 12pm both days.
The Hunter Challenge is self-guided along our main firing line, best shot in pairs or as a family.
There will be marker posts which designate each position.
Targets from 100m to 725m, average target size is 1MRAD/3.5MOA average distance is 350m.
Completing the course of fire will result in your projectiles traveling over 10km in total!!!
Peak View Range is currently a Bronze Sponsor of NMRH and we will maintain that no matter how badly you lot shoot :)
Bonus 22lr mini-rifle shoot. $20 entry fee. 100% donated to NMRH.
Sunday 9am safety brief - 6 stages 20-200m - 90 seconds and 5-15 rounds per stage. Semi and bolt divisions.
What to bring:
A centrefire rifle and at least 1 FAL per firearm (supervising is permitted and this will be covered in the safety brief)
Hearing Protection (suppressed rifles encouraged but not required so bring some hearing pro for when youre next to that one guy who takes a muzzle brake everywhere).
Max fps: 3200
Max Cal : 30cal (eg 222-300winmag will work)
Eye Protection
Everything else you take on an outdoor outing.
Sunday: 22lr, bolt or semi 2x10 round mags would be helpful. (spare 10/22 mags available).
For those traveling to the region, Self contained camping on the range is permitted.
Alcohol/Drugs are obviously not permitted on the range and Smoking is only in the designated area.
Peak View Retreat is available and 50% of a booking that weekend will be donated to NMRH (sleeps 2 couples) email Hello@peakviewretreat.co.nz to book (this sentence will be removed as soon as it booked)
