Peak View Range was designed from day 1 to have targetry suitable for the use with thermal scopes and night vision scopes. We have a few tricks that allow you to zero with the least amount of rounds possible. We are familiar with a few brands but they are all mostly the same, if you can send us the model a couple of days prior we can make sure our instructor is brushed up on the model ready for your arrival. Bring your rifle, scope and at least 20 rounds of ammo (ideally buy 40 of the same so you’ll have 20 spare for hunting or more practice). PVR recommends you use a Picatinny rail for all Thermal and Night Vision Equipment. Regular scope rings and Quick detach rings are not made equal, if you’ve got a $2k rifle and $6k scope don’t use temu rings 🤦🤷‍♂️ If you don’t have rings you’re confident in let us know we usually stock the MDT Premiers but can arrange one-piece and quick detach that are suitable, just send us a message prior to booking. This is a brief lesson, getting your equipment zeroed at 100m with data to 200m, if you want a little more time to get data for 300-400m or to learn more about long range then the Lvl2 lesson might be a better option. If you need somewhere on Private Land to test on warm moving targets then consider a PVR Membership, PVR Members complete the Range Safety Brief and are the only ones we allow to hunt on our 3(4) properties - once you’re a member you can book a time via the website to deconflict with other safety requirements on the properties.
